WHEN IS MY TUITION DUE?
Your monthly tuition payment is always due between the 1st and 8th of every month.
IS THERE A LATE FEE IF I PAY AFTER THE 10TH?
Yes, a late fee of $15.00 will be added to your account.
CAN I USE MY CREDIT CARD OR DEBIT CARD TO MAKE PAYMENTS?
Yes, Power Dance Company accepts all major credit and debit cards. There is a 2.75% fee for every credit/debit card transaction.
IF MY CHILD MISSES A CLASS, AM I ABLE TO GET PART OF MY TUITION PAYMENT BACK?
Unfortunately, Power Dance Company has a NON-REFUNDABLE policy on all tuition and registration fees.
CAN MY CHILD GET MOVED UP INTO A HIGHER LEVEL OR HARDER CLASS?
All New Dancers joining Power Dance Company will be assessed by a Power Dance Company Staff Member and be placed into classes that will best suit the growth and progression of the dancer. Dancers are able to move up into a higher level if progress is shown before the start of the new season of dance.
WHAT IF THERE AREN'T ENOUGH CHILDREN REGISTERED IN MY CHILD'S CLASS?
Power Dance Company has the right to change, alter or cancel any classes due to low enrollment. In order for a class to be official, there needs to be 3 or more students registered in that particular class.
HOW LONG DO CLASSES RUN?
Power Dance Company's season runs from September-June.
WILL THERE BE AN END OF THE YEAR PERFORMANCE FOR MY CHILD?
Yes! Power Dance Company has an annual Spring Showcase in June usually the first or second weekend! Our Showcase is always held at Walled Lake Central High School.
IS THERE A PICTURE DAY THAT MY CHILD PARTICIPATES IN?
Yes, each year, every class at Power Dance Company gets their class pictures profession taken by D & L Photography!
WILL MY CHILD GET A COSTUME FOR THEIR CLASSES? WILL MY CHILD WILL BE ABLE TO KEEP THE COSTUMES AFTER THE SEASON ENDS?
Yes, for all recreational and competitive classes, each class will have a costume. For recreational classes, a $50 deposit per class is required. More information will be given once the season begins.
AFTER CLASSES END IN JUNE, WHEN DO THE NEXT SESSION OF CLASSES START?
We have Summer Programs for dancers of all ages during the months of July and August! Fall Session of classes always start in September.
WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE FOR MY DANCER?
For all recreational dancers, please refer to the dress code tab on our website. For Elite Team dancers, pease refer to your 2018-2019 Elite Team Handbook.
WHERE CAN I BUY MY DANCER'S PROPER DANCE ATTIRE?
There are many places that has dance wear for sale. Try to stay away from Payless and/or Walmart and try different online stores such as Discount Dance. If you are interested in going to a brick and mortar business, Try Dance World in Livonia or Heart and Sole in Keego Harbor.
I AM SIGNING UP MORE THAN ONE CHILD. DO WE GET A FAMILY OR SIBLINGS DISCOUNT?
Yes, we do offer family/sibling discounts. For the 2nd child, you will receive 20% off their monthly tuition. For the 3rd child, you will receive 10% off of their monthly tuition. (APPLIES TO RECREATIONAL CLASSES ONLY)
ARE THERE ANY DROP IN CLASSES THAT MY CHILD CAN TAKE?
Yes, we only offer a drop in rate for all of our Elite Technique Classes Only (Ballet, Jazz, Modern). The drop in rate is $10.00 per class.
WHAT IS THE ELITE COMPETITIVE TEAM AND WHEN ARE THE ELITE TEAM AUDITIONS?
Our PDC Elite Competitive Team is our competition that travels all across the state of Michigan and competes in dance competitions. Every other year, we travel nationally and compete in a national event. Our Elite Competitive Team dances 3 days a week up to 5 hours each day. Elite Team Boot Camp is July 16-19, 2018. Auditions are July 20-21, 2018!
ME AND MY CHILD ARE INTERESTED IN POWER DANCE COMPANY, CAN WE TAKE A TRIAL CLASS?
Absolutely! We invite families to come in and try out any of our PDC classes FOR FREE before registering for one!
